Emily Shore is a MN author represented by Carlisle Webber of Fuse Literary for her anti-trafficking book, The Aviary (currently on submission to publishers). She has a B.A. in Creative Writing from Metro State University and is the grand prize winner of #PitchtoPublication, which ultimately led her to her agent.
Ten years ago, the seed was planted for Emily to learn more about the anti-trafficking movement during a visit to Germany. For the past five years, she’s been actively involved attending and volunteering for seminars, fundraising events, and forums. She loves connecting with rescue organizations and survivors of sex-trafficking, hearing their stories, and injecting their truths into her books for youth. Her goal is to raise awareness to the brutal sex-trafficking industry and everything it involves from drugs to pornography.
In March, Emily will be releasing her first self-published anti-trafficking novella as a call to action for teenagers to join the movement. For more information, see the Ruby in the Rough page. To learn more about her anti-trafficking book represented by CK Webber, see The Aviary page.
Emily lives in Saint Paul with her husband and two little girls. In her free time, she enjoys motivational speaking on the issue of sex-trafficking, baking, acrylic painting, interior decorating, scrapbooking, campaigning against sex trafficking, and spending time with all the little girls in her life. Find out more about her anti-sex trafficking book on the The Aviary page.
